Building pontoon boat? - homemade pontoon boat

Boats before Ive craft tools integrated so well in, but I've never been a pontoon, with plans to construct a small fishing vessel of a man, what materials can be used for pontoons?, I have some 55 gallon drums used in thought, but what should I do so that they better hydrodynamic

Want to add domed or conical end pieces for the edges of the first two runs. Probably a shell might come with a rolling machine to make it up perfectly tapered ends. Be careful when you use the battery and check that it is planning explosive gas in the battery weld. Four drums, the minimum estimate of 1600 + pounds of displacement.

for the pontoons, you want to use a lightweight metal such as aluminum. To them more hydrodynamic, you may want to Styrofoam.
