What are some things you cant do if you have a prosthetic leg? - my prosthetic leg blog

I read a book called talk of whales and a character in the book is on the swim team and also has an artificial leg so I am wondering what are some things I can not do if you have an artificial leg?

I use a prosthetic leg for most of my life. Amplifiers legs do almost everything, artificial legs can be adjusted in almost every conceivable sport or activity. I can dip my leg at regular use of water, but I use one leg to swim, surf, etc. (although I would rather swim in a pool with an artificial leg .. I'm an AK causes) tow

Besides doing the swim in the pool, I wear my prosthetic leg during sleep or in the shower. I could use my prosthesis to bed, but it would be like wearing boots to bed ... It is feasible, but not comfortable.

All we can do is move your toes freely out in both ankles and legs, and oscillates in a sitting position to move. I can also feel the vibration, although my leg, but when you touch something hot or cold, I can not feel my prosthesis. In addition, if a cat comes behind me and my prosthetic sometimes I go, because I can handle it. (My cats are not learned quickly under my feet have been)

is actually a good question. Advances in prosthetic technology can also be in the last two years. it's hard to imagine what can be done. People run marathon, skydiving, to fill the remainder of his recruitment. perhaps a room with their fingers?
